I fell in love at the seaside.

Doesn't everyone love the beach? But when is it at it's best?
Imagine a vast empty wasteland beneath you, stretching out as far as the eye can see, with gentle waves crumbling onto the shore.  The turquoise blue twinkles as the sun begins to cast its rays.  The waves create a sense of stillness, calming and cooling, gently washing away troubles and worries.
You love the rush if waves, the coarse sand exfoliating your feet, the feeling of weightlessness.
Most of all the feeling of serenity.
The smell of salty air tingles in your nose, the air smells so clean, fresh and open.
Shells lie peacefully untouched, wallowing in the serenity, they kay there undisturbed. Sleeping.
Small footprints are barely visible as the waves dive englufing them.
Nothing is more relaxing than hearing the gentle crumble and trickle of water, it lulls you into a serene place, where every focus is on that calming noise.

Then slowly you hear them, gradually getting louder.  A swarm of bees to honey.  The vast wasteland is no more and the gentle calming rush of the ocean now seems like a distant dream, for now there is no noise other than the constant buzzing, running over and over in your mind like a stuck record player.  The utter calm and peacefullness has been ruined in what seems like no time at all.
Hoarse cries can be heard as water is splashed and fortresses of sand crumble. Laughter is also heard amidst the constant buzz of conversation.
The previous smell of the beach has been extinguished from your nose.  You can now smell the heat.  The vingera swimming over the fish and chips, stings in your nose.
Seagulls are encircling above, ready to dive down on their prey.

Instead of the wasteland there is now a row of colourful umbrellas lining the skyline.
Rather than a sea os turquoise and sand, there's a rainbow of colour scowring the beach/
There's a different type of beauty from before.
The lack of serenity will be renewed in the morning.
